Top Five Tuesday: Candles...

Hey everyone

I am so happy to be linking up with {Just Peachy} for Top Five Tuesday again today - it's been a while and I'm so glad it's (and Rachel!) is back!

I am beyond excited for todays theme - Candles!
Ma has always been a huge candle fan but it took me 'til last year to really become a fan myself - now I couldn't live without them!

Anyways, onto my Top Five (Summery) Candles..

I have to say that my most favourite brand of candles is Yankee Candles- I just love their crazy variety of scents and how long they burn for - honestley, I just don't find myself buying any other brands

(side note: I'm not a fan of how they say to cut the wick so the jar doesn't go black - cutting the wick or not cutting the wick the jar still goes black for me! I must be doing something wrong (though how hard is it to cut a wick?!))

Midsummers Night  - An intoxicating and masculine blend of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne
this one is my absolute favest fave - I have the car-jar for Stitch - every time I get in the care and smell it, it just reminds me of summer drives :)

Garden HideawayA peaceful escape filled with the sweet scent of beautiful garden flowers.
this one reminds me so much of my Nams' garden - she always has oodles of sweet peas in the summer and this candle smells just like them!

Mignight Jasmine A seductively lush perfume of water jasmine, sweet honeysuckle, neroli, and mandarin blossom.
I love jasmine (and neroli) - I've had this candle for ages but just haven't gotten around to burning it yet - I really need to because it smells beautiful!

Lotus WaterThis calming combination of leafy greens, bamboo flower and musk helps melt away the stresses of the day.
this is my 'studying scent' I burn this every time I sit down at my desk to study - it's just gorgeous - nothing too strong or too floral to distract me from studying, just fresh and clean

Beach Walk Refreshing salt water and sea musk warmed with sunny notes of tangerine and orange blossom.
I think this will be my next candle purchase - as if the colour wasn't beautiful enough, I think the smell sounds so lovely and summery!

What's your favourite candle scent?
I think I need to branch out and try new brands - what's your fave?
