Happies & Crappies...

Hey everyone

Today I'm linking up with {the vintage modern wife} & {scissors and a whisk} again to take stock of this week in the form of my...

Still looking alright on the 'not being ill' front!

My IPE group (well most of them) got their act together and we basically sorted out our poster - just a bit of tweaking to be done next week. Turns out the medics are actually quite nice and not as 'up themselves' as they first came across - well apart from one of them, see crappies.

I had an amazingly awesome day with Ma and Princess on Wednesday - we went for a walk round a country park and then topped it off with froyo - perfect!

The man/dude/lad (I never know what to call males in their early twenties - any thoughts much appreciated!) in the froyo shop was really nice and friendly in a sincere way - we had a good old chat about rugby - well he did, I just did my trademark polite interest thing  seeing as rugby isn't really one of my strong points!

I finished off watching series one of 'once upon a time' and oh my life - it was awesome! I loved it! I can't wait for when series two hits the UK - I'm already on the lookout for it!

I broke my foot. Well, I broke three toes so essentially I broke my foot. It's quite a funny story actually - I walked into my door just before I left to go out for dinner on Saturday and literally burst in to tears and how much it hurt but I was too lazy to take my tights off to look at the damage so I just left it - by the end of the night my foot was too swollen to take my shoe off and I ended up in A&E on Sunday morning with an entirely black bruised foot only to be told that there's nothing the consultant could do because it wasn't my big toe that I had broken - lucky me, eh?

One of the medics in my IPE group had the audacity to ask if my Barbour was real! Isn't that just the epitome of rudeness?! It is in my book at least!

I'm feeling super stressed with all the work I have to do in the next couple of weeks - who knew second year was going to be this stressful! I can definitely sense some all nighters are going to have to be pulled to get everything done - sometimes they are just unavoidable.

We had a lecture essentially all about the molecular mechanics of how taking an overdose leads to suicide and to be honest I just didn't need that - it's a sore subject for me and revisiting that pain was just not a pleasant experience.

I officially started my countdown to graduation by applying for my last lot of student finance - how fast three years have gone by is just plain scary.

The weather has gone from being really lovely and spring-y at the start of the week to being back to yucky drizzly winter again now it's the end of the week - I honestly think I may have SAD seeing as the weather affects my mood so much!

Boo for my happies being longer than my crappies - I will try to rectify this next week!
